This deserted croft overlooks the Kyle of Sutherland - a river estuary that separates Sutherland from Ross-shire. The waters of the Kyle of Sutherland flow into the Dornoch Firth and are fed by the four famous Kyle of Sutherland salmon rivers; Oykel, Shin, Cassley and Carron that have a worldwide reputation far in excess of their size.
